Virtual Session: Study Smarter, Not Longer

$25.00

Active Study Strategies for Lasting Learning

Many students spend time rereading, highlighting, or looking over their notes but still struggle to remember the information when it matters. This practical virtual session helps teens understand how to make their study time more purposeful, active, and effective.

Students will be introduced to a simple process for approaching their learning, organizing information, checking what they truly know, and preparing over time instead of relying on last-minute studying. The session includes guided examples, reflection, and opportunities for students to apply the strategies.

Parents are encouraged to attend alongside their teen so they can better understand the strategies and support their use at home. Teens should be present and actively participate. Recommended age: middle school to college students

Upcoming virtual sessions:

Sunday, August 30 at 11:00 a.m. (EST)
Thursday, September 3 at 7:00 p.m. (EST)

Registration is limited to 6 students. First come first serve. Register by Wednesday, August 26, 2026! A virtual link will be sent to you prior to session.

Session length: 60 minutes
Cost: $25 per student/family
Format: Live virtual session
Included: A digital document outlining the steps and strategies taught during the workshop.
