Does this sound familiar?
Puts off assignments until the last minute and rushes through work at night
Knows what to do — but still doesn't do it
Feels overwhelmed by large projects and doesn't know where to start
Consistently underestimates how long homework actually takes
Struggles to balance school, activities, and downtime without burning out
Loses confidence when hard work still doesn't produce the results they want
Your Student Is Capable. They Just Need a System.
Most students struggle not because of ability, but because they were never taught how to manage time, energy, and responsibilities.
What Parents Are Saying
★★★★★
My daughter struggled to manage her time and often felt overwhelmed starting tasks. She's now using tools to break tasks down and is getting started more independently. Jessica introduces strategies in a way that really connects. I've seen a real difference in her confidence and engagement — it truly feels like a team approach.

Before working with Jessica, my children struggled with tracking assignments and meeting deadlines, which led to failing grades and constant stress. Now, they both successfully manage their own schedules and turn work in on time. It was the best investment I could have made for their future.

MEET YOUR COACH
Hi, I'm Jessica Maloney
I'm an educator, learning coach, and entrepreneur passionate about helping students become confident, independent learners. Over the past 18+ years, I’ve worked primarily with elementary students while also supporting middle school students through teaching and workshops. During that time, I’ve seen the same struggle again and again — capable kids who've never been taught a system for managing their time and responsibilities.
I also know firsthand how valuable these skills are and often wish they had been taught more intentionally when I was a student myself.
That's why I created the Maloney Learning Framework: to give students structure, clarity, and confidence in how they approach school and life.

Students will be introduced to a simple process for approaching their learning, organizing information, checking what they truly know, and preparing over time instead of relying on last-minute studying. The session includes guided examples, reflection, and opportunities for students to apply the strategies.
Parents are encouraged to attend alongside their teen so they can better understand the strategies and support their use at home. Teens should be present and actively participate. Recommended age: middle school to college students

A structured approach to help students manage their time, plan their work, protect their energy, set goals, and take action. Each workshop can be taken individually based on your child’s needs or combined to build a complete system for success.
To help students strengthen their understanding, each participant will choose one strategy to briefly teach back to a partner. This gives students a chance to explain the skill in their own words, show how it works, and practice applying it to a real situation.
Materials included: Workbook and planning pages, with an option to include a timer and planner.
